Document Design: This document contains all available orders we have produced and is based on the state of Victoria. You can edit this document to reflect your state’s needs. Look out for the yellow highlights and the “RELEVANT LEGISLATION” boxes. These are where you can specifically reference the legislation that applies to that order.

There are some boxes labelled as [state] to help guide you. Under requirements such as firearms, handcuffs, body armour, use of force and arrest, it refers to the Victorian guidelines. Please replace this information with your state’s guidelines.

The document is laid out with a table of contents for ease of use, business information, key expectations of security staff and then each procedure. Each procedure or “order” is laid out with a clear title, definition, purpose, the procedure itself, how to implement it and when it was approved and last updated.

For example, this usually applies to licensing activities such as cash in transit, firearms, control room, crowd control, K9 or bodyguarding.
